Kathy Klang CAP/ABV, Cummings, Keegan & Co. Managing Partner
Kathy Klang graduated in 1983 from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Accounting. Kathy joined Cummings, Keegan & Co., P.L.L.P. in January of 1984. In 1988, she was appointed Manager of Success Management®, the division of Cummings, Keegan & Co., P.L.L.P. that provides management consulting services. She became a partner of the firm in October 1996. In 2005, Kathy achieved the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation from the American Institute of CPA's. She was named Managing Partner in 2006. In 2007, Kathy was the first woman elected to the Board of Directors of the prestigious CPAmerica International organization. Kathy's areas of expertise include strategic business planning, business valuations, computer consulting, accounting and auditing for non-profit organizations, manufacturing and small businesses. She has a particular interest in consulting that helps small business owners improve their business.
Kathy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is the past Chair of the Board at the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as the Treasurer. She is also a member of the Management Consulting Services (MCS) committee at CPAmerica International. A native of the Twin Cities, Kathy resides in Minneapolis with her husband.
Kip Lilly, Lilly Foresight Dynamics
Kip Lilly, principal, has 20 years experience in organizational management as a chamber executive, consultant and management trainer for businesses, chambers of commerce, business associations, and government agencies. He has conducted over 600 strategic planning sessions and given nearly 1,500 speeches on future trends. He teaches community analysis, leadership, and organizational change for the Institute for Organization Management. He has consulted on organizational effectiveness in Brazil, Canada, China, Europe, India, Mexico and Thailand. He holds a master's degree in urban studies from Occidental College, a bachelor's degree in urban relations from Carleton College, and was a CORO Foundation Fellow in public affairs.
Loren Lovhaug, Technology Strategist
For the past 25 years Loren Lovhaug has been working in a variety of capacities to help organizations effectively harness the power of new technology. Through his experiences over past decades as a software developer, network architect, IT Director, author, speaker, teacher, mentor, and consultant Loren has developed a knack for identifying ways for private, public, and non-profit sector organizations of all sizes solve problems and increase revenue through the innovative use of technology.
Bruce Nustad, TwinWest Chamber of Commerce
Bruce Nustad is president of the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce, serving businesses in the western Twin Cities suburbs. Prior to his current role, Bruce was president of the Twin Cities North Chamber and membership development vice president at the Saint Paul Area Chamber. Bruce is married and a father of four children. He holds a masters degree in public administration from Minnesota State University-Mankato and was an extra on the movie "Fargo".
Tom Wilson, President, Risdall Marketing Group
Tom is responsible for connecting clients’ brands to the target audience. He oversees strategic direction and provides imagination in solving problems. Tom has more than 25 years of agency experience working on accounts such as Fisher Snacking Nuts, Borden Foods, Wyler’s, Hefty, Ralston Purina and General Mills at major agencies, including Campbell Mithun, Fallon Worldwide and Martin/Williams. While at Campbell Mithun, Tom ran the Dairy Queen account. A graduate of Iowa State University with a major in Journalism and a minor in Marketing, Tom is a mentor to students and alumni alike and serves on the ISU Greenlee School Advisory Council.
Lee Zechmann, Johnson Screens
Lee Zechmann is currently the Director of Human Resources for Johnson Screens, a Division of Weatherford International, located in New Brighton. Lee has nearly 30 years experience in Human Resources and previously worked in similar capacities for the Dow Chemical Company and Brockway Glass Container Corporation. Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Minnesota. She currently holds the SPHR (Senior Professional Human Resource) Certification from the Human Resource certification Institute. Lee is a member of the Twin Cities Human Resource Association (TCHRA) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
